Requirements to Apply:
1. Applicants must be at least 17 years of age. 2. Applicants must physically be able to perform the work of the trade. 3. Applicant must have a valid driver's license. 4. Applicants securing employment will be required to take a urinalysis test for drugs, including marijuana. The test will be paid for by the apprenticeship fund. Any applicant who has a positive urinalysis test, or has refused to take a test, will not be accepted into the apprenticeship program, but may reapply one-year from the date of the urinalysis test. Applications will be accepted by the Cement Masons Joint Apprenticeship Committee only on the first and third working Mondays of each month during the business hours of 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM at the Builders' Association Training Center, located at 105 W. 12th Avenue, North Kansas City, MO 64116. The recruitment, selection, employment and training of apprentices during their apprenticeship shall be without discrimination because of race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability or sex.
